Dr.
Lie Zhang
 Dr. Lie obtained his BEng in Mechanical Engineering from East China
University of Science and Technology in 2003. Afterwards he moved to
Imperial College London where he received his MSc in Advanced Mechnical
Engineering. He completed his PhD degree at Wessex Institute of
Technology in 2008.
Dr. Lie is now working for BEASY as fracture simulation engineer and he
has been involved in a number of European projects. He is also
responsible for customer support, software development, testing and
maintenance. He specialises in solid mechanics, failure assessment of
pressure vessels and probablistic fracture mechanics. He has many years
of experience in programming using Java, C# and C.
