Dr.
Robert A. Adey
 Dr
Adey graduated from the Aston University, England.
He received his Master of Science in Structural Engineering
and PhD in Numerical Simulation from the Southampton
University, England. Dr Adey is manager of the BEASY
Software company within the Computational Mechanics
group that produces computer analysis software packages
for use by design engineers in industry.
He has been involved in successful
projects for numerous companies including the Ford Motor
Co., the Naval Surface Warfare Center and Rolls-Royce,
GKN Westland Helicopters. Dr Adey has over 20 years
working experience with engineering software systems.
He is also the editor of the international journal Advances
in Engineering Software and has written and edited a
number of books on computational methods applied to
engineering problems.
