Offshore
Structures
Using the offshore structures tools, the complete BEASY model can be automatically
generated including the sacrificial anodes. The joints are automatically corrected
by the software to enable models to be created quickly.
Special tools have
been developed to simplify the task of placing sacrificial
anodes on tubular members of offshore structures
and pipes.
Model
Building and Result Visualisation
Integrated
tools are provided to build models and visualise
the results.
Geometry can be imported from CAD systems.
FEM
Interface
Tools are available to automatically convert
FEM type structural models into BEASY models suitable
for corrosion simulation.
BEASY
Simulator
Changes
in the anodes or materials can be quickly made using
the spreadsheet type interface so that design options
can be quickly and efficiently evaluated.
Optimisation
and Automation Tools
When the automation
and optimisation tools are used, a real time view
of the progress can be displayed showing the evolution
of the design. Unsuitable designs can be quickly
eliminated and the software restarted.
