FREE 1 Day BEASY Seminar
ELECTROCOATING SIMULATION

Introduction

Electrochemical processes are used in many industries to apply coatings to components and structures. This seminar will introduce new computer modelling techniques which can predict the performance of these manufacturing processes.

Who Should Attend?

Engineers who are responsible for electrochemical coating processes.

Immediate Benefits to You

  • Learn how to use computer modelling tools to predict electrocoating
  • Learn how modelling can be used to optimise electrocoating processes
  • Learn about the fundamentals of modelling galvanic processes

Seminar Background

Many manufacturing processes for coating products are based on galvanic/electrochemical processes. The design of these processes requires still on behalf of the designer to ensure the correct location of anodes, shields and other factors to ensure that the required coating is obtained (eg, not too thick or too thin).

The development of new methods based on the boundary element technique has enables the performance of the process to be predicted. With these tools the key design parameters can be computed on the process optimised to meet the product specifications.

The seminar will include a computer workshop where the software will be applied to solve typical coating problems.
