and guides you in correcting them.
Basic BEASY
Model
The starting point of the CrackWizard is the basic BEASY model which consists
of the model mesh and loading condition. This can be created directly by the
user in modelling tools such as MSC.Patran or automatically generated from
a Finite Element Model using the BEASY Model Generation Wizard. This model
does not need to contain information on the crack or cracks as this information
is automatically added by CrackWizard.
CrackWizard includes a database of typical
matierials.
Crack Library
CrackWizard provides the user access to the crack library where the type and
size of crack can be selected and automatically inserted in the model. CrackWizard
is easily customisable to allow the addition of new crack shapes and types.
CrackWizard
provides a library of the commonly required crack
shapes.
Crack Growth
Models
CrackWizard provides the most widely used crack growth models and is integrated
with the well known NASGRO materials database. The user can customise the system
to add additional materials to the database or to add additional crack growth
models in the form of tabulated data.

growth and retardation models.
Loading
CrackWizard supports full multiaxial loading, loading spectra and loading history.
