The BEASY Offshore Tool provides the capability to convert a text file which contains information about the geometry of a jacket type structure into an input data file that can be easily imported into the BEASY User Interface to create a model of the structure. The Jacket structure normally consists of tubular type members and standoff anodes which are converted into BEASY elements suitable for a CP simulation.
The data format is similar to that of a finite element model of the structure therefore the use of the tool can facilitate the reuse of structural analysis data as well as significantly reducing the model creation effort. An example of the data format is shown below.
Using the BEASY Offshore Structural Tool the BEASY CP model is created.
