AA&S Conference


In April (20th-23rd), BEASY was due to be exhibiting at the Aircraft & Sustainability Conference, presenting our fracture mechanics & corrosion risk assessment simulation software and services for aerospace structures.

Unfortunately the conference has been postponed but please find below a preview of the BEASY presentation.

Tear-down inspections of aircraft indicate that most structural failures initiate at corrosion features - nearly 80% of corrosion damage sites identified to have initiated cracks. Therefore a systematic approach is needed for galvanic management of airframes.
 

Fracture Assessment

For fracture assessment cases where parameter studies are required BEASY's Fracture Assessment Tool automates the process of investigating multiple crack locations and the impact of multiple crack sizes.
For example manufacturers can assess allowable crack like defect sizes.
